Do Processing Emails Really Pay?

Wonder of wonders, my email box has been full of promises:" Can you process twenty emails per day?" "Make $2340 a day by processing simple emails". Apparently there are still a lot of people out there that buy the idea that you can get rich and do virtually nothing. Who wouldn't want to make a ton of money for such a simple job as this? The details they provide before you buy are sketchy. The only knowledge required is how to work with emails. Anyone can do this. Hmm...sounds too good to be true. Of course it is too good to be true.

Processing emails, what is it that you will really be doing? You will pay them for the information to get started. This can range from ten dollars to hundreds of dollars depending on the business. No matter what the price, the business system is basically the same. After you have paid them, they give you a "mirror" site. This is a site that is identical to the one sent to you for signing up. They give you a code that identifies this as your site. You have to get this site seen in order to get other people to buy the information. Getting the site seen is where the problem lies. There are thousands of marketers out there competing with you. You will have to pay the cost of either buying opt in email list advertising or placing advertisments on the internet. The amount of money this will cost you can be outrageous. You can easily spend hundreds of dollars trying to market your mirror site.

Once you have spent all that money what are the chances of getting money from people signing up? I hate to say this but it's not good. Out of my test one thousand plus ads got about a two percent click ratio. Out of those clicks, no one purchased. Out of approximately ten thousand ad views, one person purchased. Those kind of odds are not going to get anyone rich.
If you're still convinced that mirror sites are a good way to make money, you have to be realistic. It is an investment that you will be putting hundreds of dollars into. It is just as likely that you will win money from putting money into lottery tickets as it is that you will make money from email processing. Notice that none of these ads tell you they have actually made money. They have paid to send you the line they bit and hope you will do the same.
